MTR Airport Express Hong Kong.

En esta entrada les contaremos como se puede viajar al aeropuerto de Hong Kong y viceversa. Para ello podremos utilizar una de las formas más rápidas aunque no es la más barata, para poder llegar de manera rápida y comoda al centro de Hong Kong o al aeropuerto mismo.

Cuanto cuesta el billete en el MTR AIRPORT EXPRESS?

Se necesita la tarjeta octopus?

No se necesita, de hecho si uno saca el pasaje por alguna máquina automática se nos dará una tarjeta que será solo válida para el tramo comprado.

Como saco los billetes?

Se pueden acercar a los puntos de información en la estación o pueden comprar en las máquinas automaticas expendedoras. con esta última opción pueden comprar de manera super fácil el billete.

Recuerden que si suben en el aeropuerto Chek Lap Kok no tienen un molinete para ingresar, pero para poder salir de la estación a la que lleguen si tienen que apoyar la tarjeta, si pagaron una tarifa menor no los dejará salir. No es necesario depositar la tarjeta en el molinete como si pasa por ejemplo en el metro, por lo que se pueden quedar con la tarjeta de recuerdo.

Por otra parte aquellos que usen el MTR AIRPORT EXPRESS subiendo en la estación Hong Kong Central, tienen la posibilidad de poder hacer el check in e inclusive despachar valijas ahi mismo en la estación de trenes! Hay varias aerolineas que permiten esto como Delta, Air Canada, Emirates, Austrian, Lufthansa, Singapore, United, etc.

En la estación de Kowloon van a encontrar que existe un servicio de shutles hacia los hoteles principales de Hong Kong, chequeen si su hotel tiene transfer desde allí de manera completamente gratis. Nosotros en particular usamos el shutle bus del hotel DORSETT, que pudimos encontrar en la salida E de la estación.
